As part of the Social Science in Humanitarian Action Platform, Anthrologica supported the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Working with a network of expert advisors, we led the production of over 30 briefs during the pandemic on key socio-cultural considerations and operational recommendations to inform and strengthen the response. We were members of the COVID-19 Social Science Working Group for WHO and through that contributed directly to the RnD Blueprint research roadmap across the pillars of the response. We continue to work directly with key agencies (UNICEF, IFRC, Oxfam and others) to ensure social science data informs response strategies and community engagement initiatives for COVID-19 and other outbreaks.
