As part of the Social Science in Humanitarian Action Platform, Anthrologica is supporting the response to the 2018/2019 outbreaks of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo and preparedness activities in high priority neighbouring countries. Working with a network of expert advisors, we have produced a series of briefs (in English and French) focusing on key socio-cultural considerations and operational recommendations to strengthen the response and halt transmission. We are also working directly with key agencies (WHO, UNICEF, IFRC, Oxfam and others) to ensure social science data informs response strategies and community engagement initiatives.
