UNICEF has long supported Child Health Days programmes, focusing on scaling-up integrated, campaign-style interventions to supplement routine, primary healthcare service delivery for children under five. This project documented the coverage and effectiveness of Child Health Days and their integration of nutrition and immunisation activities in Zambia, Tanzania and Madagascar. Reports and advocacy brochures were developed that captured challenges, lessons learned and good practice, and recommendations for accelerated action.
